Mrs. Nelson received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Emory University in 1988.
In 1991, she received her Juri Doctor Degree from The University of Georgia Law School.
Mrs. Nelson is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Georgia. She is an Adjunct
Instructor at Tallahassee Community College.

Prior to starting her own firm in 1999, Mrs. Nelson was Counsel for the Florida Department
of Transportation. She served as an assistant State Attorney with the Office of the State
Attorney,. Sixth Judicial Circuit in St. Petersburg. Mrs. Nelson was also an Associate at
Williams, Wilson & Sexton Law Firm in Tallahassee, Florida.
